Services which offer mental health support in a crisis are open although some have adapted the way they can offer help to people at the moment, because of social distancing guidance.

Leeds Survivor-Led Crisis Service (LSLCS): updated 16 March 2021
Connect Helpline is open every night from 6pm to 2am and support is available over the phone or online. You can request a call back and they will get back to you as soon as they can. To talk to someone online, visit their website and click the button at the top of the screen when it says Online. You can tell them a latest time for a call back or if you have any preferences for your support worker, such as gender.

Teen Connect is open Monday to Friday from 3.30pm to 2am and Saturday to Sunday 6pm to 2am. Support is available over the phone, online, or by text. You can request a call back and they will get back to you as soon as they can. Or you can text them and a member of staff will let you know when someone will be available to talk with you. To talk to someone online, visit their website and click the button at the top of the screen when it says Online. You can tell them any preferences for your support, which is up to an hour long.

Dial House@Touchstone is for people from a black or minority background. It’s open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm to 12 midnight and is offering phone support at the moment.

Dial House is open 6pm to 2am on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. On Mondays, Fridays, and Sundays phone and video support is available. When you call or text them a trained crisis support worker will be able to speak to you for up to 1 hour.

On Wednesdays and Saturdays, Dial House itself will be open for visits, with priority given to those who have not been able to access remote support this year. Referrals are made as normal, by calling 0113 260 9328 by 6pm.
Safe Zone: updated 16 March 2021
This partnership with The Market Place and LSLCS offers crisis support for 11 to 17 year olds. At present it’s offering telephone support only, and is open on Monday, Thursday and Sunday evenings. You can find more details on The Market Place website. To make a referral or refer yourself, contact them:

Service is then open from 6pm to 9pm. Referrals run on a first come, first served basis.
Well-bean Hope in a Crisis Cafe: updated 16 March 2021
The Well-Bean Café is open 7 nights a week from 6pm to 12 midnight. The service currently operates one-to-one support over the phone or online via Zoom 5 nights a week, with face-to-face support offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Crisis Café staff will assess your needs at the point of referral to the “Touchstone Loves Food Project” if you are unable to access food.
