The West Yorkshire and Harrogate Staff Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub is completely confidential and offers advice and support that can help with a range of issues. The Hub services are free to everyone who works in health, social care and voluntary and community service organisations, large or small, in West Yorkshire and Harrogate, and is in addition to the support offered by your own workplace. The Hub team is developing its advice and support for issues such as emotional wellbeing to bereavement, debt, domestic violence and relationship issues. Our Frontline frontline against the coronavirus and offers:
- A free wellbeing support helpline on 0300 131 7000, for NHS and adult social care frontline staff operated by the Samaritans and available from 7am to 11pm, 7 days a week, providing confidential listening from trained professionals and specialist advice.
- A 24/7 text alternative – NHS staff can simply text FRONTLINE to 85258 for a confidential text conversation with a trained volunteer.
- An online toolkit for resources, tips and ideas to look after your mental health.
Our NHS People is an NHS website for employers and staff, featuring helpline numbers, links to wellbeing support apps (free access for NHS staff until December 2020), guides, notes, support for leaders and lots more.
NHS Health Education England – Coronavirus Staff Resilence Hub – help for frontline staff to manage your mental heatlh and wellbeing.
Skills for Care has resources to support the adult social care sector. They also have a leaflet to download called Building your own resilience, health and wellbeing and have an advice line for registered care managers.
Frontline 19 Emotional Support is a free service for frontline staff directly affected by Covid-19 and in needs of support. It’s quick, easy and absolutely free of charge.
