Leeds Survivor-Led Crisis Service Trans/Non-Binary Group is for anyone who identifies as transgender, or has identified as transgender in the past. This includes non-binary people and anyone questioning their gender identity.
It’s a therapeutic, relaxed, non-judgemental space where you can discuss the difficulties you’re facing and explore coping strategies. It runs every every first Thursday 6.30pm to 8.30pm and third Monday 2.30pm to 4.30pm, at 22-23 Blayds Yard, LS1 4AD, in conjunction with Yorkshire Mesmac.
The group is peer-led so everyone who attends identifies as trans or non-binary, and is led by a trans volunteer, but please note that the group may be overseen by an LGBT+ group worker who doesn’t.
Before attending the group for the first time, you would be invited to meet with a member of the group work team. For more information call the LGBT+ group worker, Malaika Ibreck, on 0113 260 9328 (Mondays and Fridays only) or email malaika.ibreck@lslcs.org.uk
