Hi everyone, Zoe here from MindWell Leeds. In this video guide we will be looking at the resources and support available to Leeds employers. Our MindWell at work guide was created in collaboration with Leeds Mindful Employer and a group of local employers. The guide contains information on why staff wellbeing is important, tips to help improve workplace wellbeing and information about how mental health is covered by the Equality Act. If you’re looking for mental health training, our guide can help you to create a training plan and find the right courses for your team.
The work-related stress page provides information on how to manage stress levels at work including useful tools like our stress bucket animation, that can be shared with employees. If you’re worried about someone you can find information that can help you to start a conversation about their mental health and tools that can support an open conversation, like the Wellness Action Plan. The guide brings together useful self-help resources from across the MindWell website, as well as information from organisations including Leeds Mind, ACAS, Carers Leeds and the NHS. We also have links to wellbeing and emotional support available in the city and key services that you can signpost staff to. The guide has information to help you support an employee who is returning to work and a page of local networks that you can connect with.

Thanks for listening and take care.
