Website

Basis Sex Work Project is a sex work support project for cis, trans and non-binary women working in the sex industry who live or work in Leeds.

The project offers a range of support to female and transgender sex workers that work in all sectors of the Leeds sex industry and/or women who are sexually exploited including students in Leeds (including those working indoors and online).

Basis Yorkshire has a specialist ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Adviser) for women sex workers who have experienced sexual violence. Support offered is non-judgemental, free and confidential, whether or not you want to report to the police or other agencies.

Service also offers information around sexual health, sexual and domestic violence, benefits and housing, emotional support and referral to counselling, mental health and wellbeing services.

If you would like to speak to someone you can reach out to Basis on “livechat” (they are online for chat in the afternoon), call the office, direct message on @basissexwork or get in touch via Facebook (office hours only but you can leave a message).
