If you’re struggling to cope or feel like you need help now, support is available.
You don’t have to wait until things get worse or be sure that what you’re experiencing is a mental health crisis.
There are different ways to get urgent support in Leeds. You can choose the option that feels most manageable for you.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger or needs life-saving help, call 999 or go to A&E.
If you’re feeling unsafe, distressed or worried about your mental health, call NHS 111 and choose the mental health option. The phone will be answered by a mental health trained call handler who will be able to listen to your concerns and help you get the support you need.
They can offer general and personalised advice over the phone, signpost to support services in your area tailored to your specific needs and are also able to put you in contact with crisis services who will, where appropriate, arrange a crisis assessment and intervention to get you the support you need.
You can also find other options below, including places you can visit and support by phone, text or online.
