Basis Young People’s Project supports young people who are at risk of, are experiencing, or who have experienced Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation.
Basis offers bespoke, one-to-one support and help with accessing other agencies or appointments, including making sure your voice is heard by other professionals. Basis have a number of one-to-one workers, a specialist LGBTQ+ worker and also a schools worker who facilitates groups in schools across Leeds.
They work with you for as long as you need it and around any issues you feel are important. They also offer peer support for girls and young women who no longer need one-to-one support. You can refer yourself or be referred by a professional or a parent, forms available online.
