Belle Isle Senior Action – (BISA) supports older people in response to severe winter weather conditions which put their health in danger from the effects of cold weather causing poor housing stock, poor insulation and unaffordable fuel bills. Belle Isle is recognised as a deprived area and older people’s income is a particular issue in this area.
They provide activities to help with social isolation including exercise class, bowling club, lunch club and social activities.
They also offer handyman services to supply and fit smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms and general household security items.
