You can call Carers Leeds if you want to talk things over and you need someone to listen. Carers Leeds can also help If you want to know about available services or what you may be entitled to receive. They can also offer advice to help you make choices.
Carers Leeds runs around 30 monthly carers groups across the city. You can find a full list of groups on their website and search for the right group for you. Some of the groups listed are open to all carers and some are only open to carers of people with specific conditions. This includes groups for people supporting someone with mental health problems.
They also run:
- Men’s Meet up – open to all male (or who identlfy as male) carers who live in LS8/9/14. All activities will take place in those postcodes
- Carers Together Women’s Group – open to people who identify as female.
