Chapel Allerton Good Neighbours (CAGN) supports older people to stay active, independent and connected to their community. The service is run by the Royal Voluntary Service through its Healthy, Happy Lives programme.
Support includes:
- chair-based exercise sessions
- a nutritious two-course lunch
- group activities, including singing, arts and crafts, hobbies and discussion
- Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) for people with mild to moderate dementia
- support for carers, who are welcome to attend activities
The service aims to support people’s physical and emotional wellbeing and help them stay involved in their community.
