Little London Arts (LLA) runs a project called Cultural and Social Outings that offers day trips for people in Leeds, aged over 50, who experience (or are at risk of) social isolation.
The visits have an emphasis on accessing nature and getting outdoors, so trips include opportunities for walking as well as other activities such as talks and tours. People can be referred or self refer for registration, they then receive details of trips and can go on as few or as many as they wish. Cost is on a suggested or pay-as-you-can basis.
