Halton Moor and Osmondthorpe Project for Elders (HOPE) supports people aged 60 and over living in Halton Moor, Osmondthorpe and Sutton Park. It helps people live independently, reduce loneliness and improve their wellbeing.

Support includes:

  • home visits
  • activities and social groups
  • befriending and telephone support
  • support for carers
  • advice and advocacy
  • benefits advice
  • support to access other services
  • bereavement support
  • a community food pantry

The service also offers support to the wider Temple Newsam Ward through its community food pantry.

You can refer yourself or ask a friend or family member to help you. Professionals and other organisations can also make referrals.

To make a referral, call, email, visit the office or write to HOPE. The person being referred must be aware of the referral.
