Inside the Cage supports young men in Leeds through a Community MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) programme and school workshops, helping improve mental health through sport, community, education, and early support.
Their Community MMA programme includes:
- using sport to provide early support for young men struggling with their mental health
- up to 9 months fully funded training at AVT MMA in Leeds
- tailored support plans covering mental health, education, and employment
Referral criteria for Community MMA programme:
- must identify as male
- must be at least 11 years old
- must be able to travel independently (or with help) to the location of the gym
- must be struggling with their mental health (MH) or risk factors for MH
