LASSN offers support to refugees and asylum seekers living in Leeds including emergency accommodation and financial support.
LASSN also offers befriending services to help refugees and asylum seekers become more settled in Leeds, make friends and feel part of the community. It also provides one-to-one English lessons to people who are unable to access ESOL classes. All the support offered by LASSN is delivered by volunteers, and local people.
Anyone can refer or self-refer to LASSN by phone or email. Referrals for accommodation come via PAFRAS or the British Red Cross.
