Leeds Sanctuary is a city-wide community project that creates welcoming spaces and regular groups where people can connect, reflect, grow and support each other’s wellbeing.
Their support includes:
- Monday Mindfulness – a free weekly online mindfulness session to help reduce stress and feel calmer
- Sip and Social – relaxed meet-ups with tea, games and creative activities, online and at venues across Leeds
- Have Your Voice Heard – a group for young people with personal experience of mental health difficulties, using creative activities, workshops and shared experiences to build confidence and make sure young people’s voices are heard
- Community groups such as The Enneagram Book Club, Leeds Craftivists and Sketch Walks, offering creativity, connection, and conversation
- Online resources – including free podcast episodes and meditations
