NHS 111 is open 24/7 if you, or someone you know, needs urgent care but it’s not life threatening. This includes advice for both your physical and mental health.
Call 111 and speak to a trained adviser. They will ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for you or someone you are concerned about.
You can also go to 111.nhs.uk to chat online.
Or, if you have difficulties communicating or hearing, you can:
- Call 18001 111 on a textphone.
- Use the NHS 111 British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter service if you’re deaf and want to use the phone service. Open from 8.00am to midnight every day.
