Woodhouse Community Centre is a community hub in Woodhouse, run by Oblong. It offers free and low-cost activities, practical support and community projects to help people improve their wellbeing, learn new skills and connect with others.
Support includes:
- SEVA breakfast and lunch club
- IT suite with free access to computers, phones and printing
- food and fuel support and food parcels
- ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes
- Stay and Play sessions for children and their parents or carers
- Headspace – a peer support group for adults with mild to moderate mental health needs
- The Present – a wellbeing programme for women
- community art and creative groups
