Providing information and practical and emotional support to blind and partially sighted people, those who are at risk of losing their sight, and also to their families, friends, and carers.
RNIB stands for Royal National Institute of Blind People, and it’s the UK’s leading sight loss charity.
Services they provide include:
- Employment – aimed at people either looking for paid work or support for people to stay in work
- Counselling – available to adults across the UK and is either over the telephone, via video call, or email
- Community connection team – providing a chance to meet and connect with other blind and partially sighted people to share interests
