Stroke Association – Stroke Recovery Service – runs a group for stroke survivors with a communication problem after their stroke.
Their Stroke Recovery Service will work with you to identify your personal support needs and priorities. A coordinator will contact you to organise a phone call and/or home visit to find out how you’re managing with daily activities, and any additional support you may require. Their service can offer you opportunities to rebuild confidence and independence, and help you to rebuild your life after stroke.
Other support, information and advice is available to stroke survivors and their family and carers. To find out more about Stroke Association services in Leeds, see their website for up-to-date contact details or call the Stroke Association helpline on 0303 3033 100.
