The team offers information and emotional support specifically for pregnant women under the age of 19.
The team includes teenage pregnancy midwives, maternity support workers and obstetric consultants.
They coordinate care for women and their partners, reducing the number of hospital visits and providing care as close to home as possible. They also provide support until 6 weeks after the birth.
