Time For Young People is a free emotional wellbeing service for young people aged 11 to 18 in Leeds.
The service offers same-day support through drop-in sessions across the city, with no referral or waiting list. Young people can talk one-to-one with trained practitioners in relaxed, welcoming spaces designed to feel safe and non-clinical.
Support is available for things like:
- anxiety and worry
- low mood
- self-esteem
- anger and emotions
- self-harm
- stress
- school or college difficulties
- relationships and family issues
Sessions are led by the young person and can include conversation, creative activities, games and practical coping strategies.
Time For Young People is an early intervention wellbeing service. It is not a crisis service and does not provide long-term therapy for complex mental health difficulties.
Support may also be available for care leavers and young people with special educational needs or disabilities up to age 25.
Please note that support sessions usually take place up to one hour before closing time.
