What is SWEMWBS?

The Short Warwick–Edinburgh Mental Wellbeing Scale (SWEMWBS) is a short questionnaire used to measure mental wellbeing.

It has been tested and is widely used, which means it is a trusted way to measure wellbeing.

SWEMWBS includes a small set of positive statements. It helps people reflect on how they have been feeling, for example whether they have been feeling optimistic, useful or relaxed.

It can be used before and after support to help you see whether someone’s wellbeing has changed over time.
