Leeds Mindfulness Festival 2024
Leeds Mindfulness Festival returns to the beautiful setting of Abbey House Museum from 8 to 18 October. Come along to join in mindfulness sessions to mark World Mental Health Day on 10 Oct and enjoy two weeks of gentle activities and sessions.
No prior experience of meditation or mindful practice is necessary. Booking essential via the Leeds Mindfulness Festival Eventbrite page – all sessions are Pay As You Feel (PAYF).

Being You Leeds is marking World Mental Health Day talking all things mental health.
In collaboration with their Anti-Stigma Champions, learn more about all things mental health and wellbeing through lived experience. Join them on Friday 11 October from 4.30pm to 7.30pm at Roscoe Church Hall, Cross Francis Street, LS7 4BZ. Stall holders welcome. Want to know more about Prioritising Mental Health in the Workplace
An online session from Leeds Public Health, exploring the relationship between employment, mental health, and the wider determinants affecting wellbeing in Leeds. They’ll provide insights into the challenges faced by both employees and employers, with a focus on reducing mental health stigma in the workplace.
This session will cover:
- an overview of headline data from Leeds and the impact of wider determinants on mental health
- insights into how employment affects mental health
- a case study from a Leeds employer on handling mental health in the workplace
- discussion around the impact of stigma and stigmatising language on mental health
- The session will be led by representatives from the Public Mental Health Team (Leeds City Council), Mindful Employer (Leeds Mind) and Touchstone.
