MindWell has always taken part in important mental health awareness dates to help encourage open and understanding conversations about mental health, free from stigma, discrimination and prejudice. We even launched our website on Mental Health Awareness Day 2016!
Key dates for your calendar
To make it easier for you to stay informed, we’ve created a mental health awareness calendar to help you find events, days and weeks that support mental health and wellbeing awareness. From Mental Health Awareness Week to World Suicide Prevention Day and Self-Care Week, there are many dates to keep in mind.
MindWell resources to support your events
On our Awareness days for your calendar page, you’ll also find links to MindWell resources where relevant. Feel free to share these online or print them out to use in your community or workplace. You can also access free MindWell promotional materials to help spread the word.
There are lots of ways to use these dates to promote mental health and wellbeing. You could:
- add the date to your work newsletter
- create a display or hold a stall
- host a coffee morning
- put up posters in your area, or
- post on social media.
Share your campaign with us
Don’t forget to let us know if you’re planning an event or campaign, or send us photos afterwards. We’d love to share it in our newsletter, on social media or even on our website! You can email us or share them with us on social media @MindWellLeeds on Facebook, Instagram or X.
If you want to know more about which awareness campaigns we’ll be joining this year, sign up for our monthly newsletter.
