Leeds Mind offers a range of mental health services to children, young people, adults and families across Leeds and West Yorkshire.
Their services include:
- Counselling – for adults aged 18+
- Peer Support – courses, workshops and support groups for adults aged 18+, delivered by people with personal experience of mental health difficulties. Includes a Hearing Voices Support Group
- Suicide Bereavement Services – support for children, young people and adults affected by suicide
- Support for people aged 50+ – group support for adults aged 50+ in Chapeltown, Gipton & Harehills, and Killingbeck & Seacroft
- WorkPlace Leeds – support for adults wanting to move towards employment or improve their mental health at work
- Youth in Mind – 1:1 peer support for culturally diverse young people from school year 6 (age 10/11) to age 25
Leeds Mind also work in partnership with other local organisations in Leeds to deliver:
- Arts & Minds – promoting creativity for mental wellbeing
- Linking Leeds – offering social prescribing for young people and adults aged 16+
- Live Well Leeds – providing community support for adults with mild to moderate mental health support needs
- Peer Support Transformation – offering 1-to-1 peer support as part of the wider NHS Transformation work happening across Leeds
