Living with chronic or persistent pain
This booklet from Live Well With Pain explains how pain works in a clear and easy-to-understand way. It helps patients gain a better understanding of their pain and how to manage it more effectively.
Live Well With Pain provides a range of resources, information, and self-management tools to help people living with persistent pain take control of their health and wellbeing.
Retrain Pain offers free online lessons about chronic pain that teach people how to change the way the brain processes pain signals. The lessons focus on practical strategies to retrain the body’s response to pain.
The Pain CD is a free audio resource that combines guided relaxation exercises with mindfulness techniques to support those living with chronic pain. It aims to reduce pain levels and promote relaxation.
The Pain Toolkit offers simple, practical advice and tools to help people manage persistent pain. It’s designed to empower those with chronic pain to improve their quality of life through self-management techniques.
